Plain Speaking PR Agency was appointed by Sunnyfields Apiaries to help raise awareness of their incredible bee-keeping experiences for individuals and businesses.

Based near the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk Suffolk border, the business is owned by Stacy Cronly-Dillon, who said goodbye to a high-flying corporate job in the food and drink sector for a complete change of lifestyle, pursuing her personal passion for bees.

After adopting beekeeping as a hobby to support her own wellbeing, Stacy took it a step further, building a successful apiary business where she hosts beekeeping experiences for enthusiasts, beginners and corporates.

Stacy is on a mission to educate people about the importance of bees and pollination, and as well as her  fantastic range of  bee-keeping experiences, training courses and  corporate hive sponsorships, she is recognised as a leading, authoritative voice on beekeeping and bees.

In 2023, Plain Speaking PR was appointed by Sunnyfields to raise the profile of the business and make it better known. With a fascinating personal story and journey into becoming a business owner, as well as boundless enthusiasm for beekeeping, we pitched Stacy’s story to the regional and national media, securing editorial features, interviews, and broadcast pieces.

Our team also co-ordinated a press day at the apiaries, offering invited journalists the opportunity to meet and interview Stacy, and try a beekeeping experience for themselves.
